1. Overview & Your Right to Deletion
At Ayowa, you have full control over your account and personal data. You have the right to request the permanent deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time, in accordance with applicable privacy laws and platform security standards.
2. How to Delete Your Account (Self-Service)
You can delete your account directly inside the Ayowa application (Web or Mobile) by following these steps:
- Log In: Sign in to your Ayowa account on the web platform or mobile app.
- Navigate to Settings: Go to your Profile menu and select Settings.
- Select Delete Account: Scroll to the bottom of the Account Settings page and click Delete Account.
- Confirm Deletion: Read the warning prompt and click Delete to confirm. Your session will be closed and your account queued for permanent deletion.
3. Requesting Account Deletion via Customer Support
If you are unable to access your account, have lost access to your login credentials, or need assistance, you can submit an account deletion request directly to our Support team:
- Email Support: Send an email to accounts@innovaltra.com with the subject line “Account Deletion Request”.
- Required Details: Include your registered email address or phone number and username so our team can locate and verify your account.
- In-App Help & Support: You can also reach out through the in-app Help & Support form available in Settings.
4. What Data is Permanently Removed
Upon account deletion, the following data is permanently purged:
- Profile & Identity: Name, username, email address, phone number, bio, avatar, and banner images.
- Security & Credentials: Passwords, active session tokens, device associations, and authentication IDs.
- User Content: Video posts, shorts, stories, comments, likes, and saved bookmarks.
- Communications: Direct chat messages, notifications, and interaction histories.
- Business Listings: Stores, service catalog items, menus, and listings created under the account.
5. Data Retention & Legal Exceptions
In certain circumstances, specific records must be retained for defined statutory periods:
- Financial & Tax Records: Order receipts, payout logs, and transaction invoices are retained as mandated by commercial, tax, and anti-money laundering (AML) laws.
- Active Disputes: Accounts with pending orders, open chargebacks, or active safety investigations will have deletion processed immediately after resolution.
6. Processing Timeline
In-app self-service deletion terminates account access immediately. Complete deletion from all active production databases and backup archives is completed within 30 days.
